Today I have a special update for you. Mưa's manager Mike Killmon just sent me an email telling me to collect as many questions for Mưa as possible. So now here is your chance. Send me all of your questions that you would like to ask Mưa in an email to daniellaux@t-online.de and I will send them to Mike. Mưa tries to answer all of the questions as soon as possible. So now here is your chance. You can also join the message board to post your question there! Send them to me within this weekend, please. Thank you, be creative with your questions and have lots of fun! You can also add me on Twitter and send me your question over there. Add me by clicking here.
UPDATE I added some nice photos of Mưa that are available in the new issue of 'Rolling Out' magazine. I didn't want to create a new update for this because I don't want you to forget about the 'Ask Mưa' special so I just updated this one. Below you can find some hot previews and you get a first look at what to expect when you click on them.
In addition to that you can find the interview below. This interview is the business, I tell you that. It's a great read and it also tells us that Mưa's new and yet untitled album will hit stores in 2010. But don't worry. Her mixtape 'Beauty and the Streets' will come out 29th September. Only nine more days of waiting. To pre-order the mixtape click here. But now back to the interview. Read the beginning of it below, followed by a link to the whole interview. Enjoy!
How did you become a part of the new season of ‘Dancing With the Stars?’ My agent brought it to the table and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. There are two different styles of dance. There is ballroom and Latin dance. There are sub forms and that can go up to 15 dances. I’m not sure what I have ahead of me, but it’s something I’m not familiar with. It’s very structured dancing and you can’t really improvise.
Do you believe that you have an advantage over your opponents due to your history in hip-hop dance and tap? I think having a musical background gives me an advantage over anyone who is not musically inclined. In dancing, you have to have timing. Being musical allows you to feel the music and know where everything goes. I got that through piano, violin and tap dance lessons. Also, if you’re athletic you have an advantage. But there is nothing that we can do to prepare for the dances. We can’t take classes. We can only watch videos, read books on the dances, and work out. Click here for the whole interview
